Loosen the ropes, full steam ahead

On board the luxury liner: the flotilla of the 'Schmittenhöhebahn' railway company invites you to delightful voyages and charter tours. There are four different pleasure steamers navigating across Lake Zell. Whenever the 'Libelle' (Dragonfly) is moving around the 'Kitzsteinhorn', 'Grossglockner' and 'Schmittenhöhe', all cruise liners are on their way. Apart from the small nostalgia ship, the entire flotilla is named after the mountains of the region.

The flagship and pride and joy of the flotilla is the newcomer amongst the boats, the 'MS Schmittenhöhe'. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the ship offers space to 250 passengers. The ship's very own chef will spoil your taste buds with the work of his hands. Whether it is to be a panorama cruise, a wedding, or a company party, the 'Pearl of Lake Zell' and her sisters are ready for an adventure.

The 'Kitzsteinhorn' cruise liner can carry up to 145 'see'-faring passengers. On its route it passes by picturesque scenery all the way to the point where you can get a glimpse of the snow-capped peaks of the Hohe Tauern mountain range. The 'Libelle' with a capacity to carry just 30 passengers, is a mite in the midst of the other members of the flotilla. The nostalgic steamer can be booked for romantic summer night trips and sumptuous feasts.
